Graphic Recording

As a graphic recorder, Paula works in conjunction with the meeting facilitator. She creates visual displays that capture meeting content.

Graphic Facilitation

As a graphic facilitator, Paula facilitates the meeting along with creating visual displays that capture meeting content.

Meeting Follow-Up and Meeting Reports

After the meeting, the chart images are photographed digitally and processed. The charts are a powerful tool for reinforcing meeting results and keeping momentum alive.

Chart images: The images can be made available to participants via CD, email or posting on a web site, providing an engaging touchstone to reinforce learning and commitments.

The chart images can be printed and provided as hand-outs at future meetings, to bridge to continuing work.

Meeting Reports: Charts can be included in meeting reports, along with annotations describing the session the chart illustrates. Meeting reports can be produced as power point files or bound and printed.

Originals: The original charts can be posted at a work place to keep results visible or at future meetings to link to previous accomplishments. They can be laminated for long-term durability.

Meeting Design

Paula is available to consult on meeting design to help best facilitate using graphics to support group processes and desired outcomes.

Pre-charting

These are done ahead of time in the studio.

  • Information Maps - Sometimes there is information that the group needs to keep in mind for the duration of a process or meeting. Large-scale visual displays are effective for that purpose, and can be done ahead of time and brought to the meeting.

  • Custom templates - A custom template can be designed to support a specific group process. The examples below were from a community meeting for an economic development project.

The template helped focus group discussion:

Summary Charts

A Summary Chart gives a one page overview of the meeting content and is valuable communication tool.

This chart was created as a summary chart from a series of meetings held for an economic development project in the Puget Sound region.

This chart was created after a series of global symposiums and used in the final report.
